igus is now offering the RX energy tube, which was developed especially for the machine tool industry. Its construction is nearly 100 percent chip-proof, with a domed outer contour that allows debris — such as metal or wood chips — to simply fall off the tube. Additional features include:
- A large interior space for cables and hoses, which can be separated using vertical separators and a horizontal shelf.
- The availability of a high-temperature version, which ensures that red-hot metal chips up to 1,562°F will fall off the tube rather than melt onto it.
