High Volume, High Speed Fans

Schaefer Ventilation has introduced the BigDog, a 72” diameter, 3 HP, belt-driven, fiberglass variable speed circulation fan, which is fitted with six fully-adjustable air deflectors. The BigDog is designed for ceiling or post mounting, and is ideal for large area cooling and de-stratification, according to the company. The BigDog is unlike HVLS fans because it moves a lot of air at a high speed, creating a 100 fpm breeze over an area 200’ long and 35’ wide.
