This heavy duty explosion proof light fixture features a stainless steel housing with stainless steel hardware for excellent durability and resistance to the effects of corrosive wet environments. The fixture is fitted with a pair of four foot long LED T series tube lamps which produce more light output than comparable T8 fluorescent tubes, but use less power and have twice the service life with a 50,000 hour rating, says the company. This LED light fixture contains no ballast, but instead has a built in battery backup system that will operate the fixture automatically in the event a power failure occurs.
