Milwaukee Tool (Milwaukee, WI) says it has introduced the first and only UL® Classified 1000V Insulated Screwdrivers tested to IEC 60900:2012, ASTM F1505-10, and NFPA 70E standards, according to the company. Milwaukee® 1000V Insulated Screwdrivers also meet the OSHA insulated tool requirement. With a flame resistant insulation bonded to the tool shank as well as an outer layer of insulation, these tools offer a dual layer for maximum safety. To further provide safety, a visual wear indicator issues a warning to the user when it is time to replace the tool. For added user convenience, insulated ID markings allow for quick tool identification on the jobsite and a lanyard hole prevents tool drops in live panels and protects both the insulation and driver from damage.
