Universal Input AC-DC Converters For Medical Applications

Paterson, NJ – May 3, 2016 – Polytron Devices has launched its new MUI65 series of AC-DC power supplies designed for medical applications. These 65-watt power supplies deliver a universal input range, 92 percent high efficiency and 2 MOPP isolation for patient protection, all in a 2.00” x 3.00” x 1.16” package. This series is available in a variety of mounting options including screw terminal, chassis mount, din rail, open and enclosed types.

The MUI65 AC-DC power supplies deliver a low leakage current under 75µA, 2000VAC input to output and an operating temperature range from 25 to 80°C. With an operating altitude of 5000M, this new 65-watt series also meets the following safety standards: UL, CE and ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1, EN60601-1 and IEC60601-1 Third Edition, as well as RoHS compliance to 2011/65/EU.
