Fairchild Industrial Products Co.’s new Rotork Fairchild range features a patent-pending improved valve seat sealing that eliminates the risk of media leakage often associated with conventional high-pressure regulators. According to the company, these 316 stainless steel regulators are offered in two styles:
HPD Diaphragm Design
- High-strength Inconel diaphragms as standard.
- Will accurately regulate output pressures down to 1.66 bar (25 psi).
- Available with the standard polymer valve seat for media temperatures up to 80°C and supply pressures up to 241 bar (3500 psi).
- Optional higher performance valve seats are fitted for temperatures up to 260°C and a maximum supply pressure of 413 bar (6000 psi).
- Available with 6-millimeter (¼-inch) ports in either two- or four-port configurations and in multiple output pressure ranges.
- Standard knobs can be replaced with tamper-proof caps for high temperature and/or non-adjustment applications.
HPP Piston Design
- For higher supply pressures.
- Handles temperatures up to 260°C and increases the supply pressure capability to 689 bar (10,000 psi).
- Available with 6-millimeter (¼-inch) ports in either two- or four-port configurations and in multiple output pressure ranges.
- Standard knobs can be replaced with tamper-proof caps for high temperature and/or non-adjustment applications.
