Building on the recognized high performance of its PulsePleat filters, GE has introduced SimPleat pleated filter elements to provide a new option for industrial air filtration customers to upgrade more cost-effectively from traditional bag-and-cage technology. According to the company, the new filters are characterized by:
- They are suited to many process applications, such as dryers, extruders, pill coating and tableting, mixers, blenders, packaging lines, nuisance-dust control systems and bin/silo vents.
- With a filtration surface area up to four times greater than standard filter bags, they can help upgrade filtration system performance and increase equipment throughput.
- The new filter elements are available for use in applications up to 180°F (82°C).
