Blackmer’s XLW series sliding vane pumps can improve overall efficiency and performance in the transfer of various inks, paints and adhesives. Designed for use in applications such as pumping adhesives with suspended abrasive particles, the XLW pumps offer hardened and replaceable wear surfaces and ductile-iron body construction. Other features include:
- Port sizes from 1-1/4 to 3 inches with optional NPT, weld or ANSI flange connections.
- Operational temperatures to 148ºC (300ºF).
- Working pressures to 24.1 bar (300 psi).
- Viscosities to 15,750 cS (75,000 ssu).
- Flow rates to 19.3 m3/hr (85 gpm).
- Differential pressures to 10.3 bar (150 psi).
- Consistent volumetric-output performance, even after significant in-service time.
- Replaceable hardened, wear resistant casing liners and end discs that allow easy rebuilding of the pumping chamber to like-new condition without removing the pump from the piping.
- Excellent self-priming and dry-run capabilities.
- An adjustable relief valve that protects against excessive pressures.
- Aymmetrical bearing support for even loading and wear, and long-life operation.
- External ball bearings that are isolated from the pumpage by mechanical seals to maximize bearing life and minimize contamination risk.
