Noise Reduction Increases Transducer Reliability

The signal output on Pressure Systems' KPSI Series 340 ASIC-based small bore submersible level transducers is much quieter, creating fewer errors.

Pressure Systems has reduced the noise of its KPSI Series 340 ASIC-based small bore submersible level transducers by five times. By using an improved signal amplifier on the transducer circuit board, the signal output is much quieter, creating fewer errors when retrieving data and significantly increasing data reliability. The improved series also offers:

  • Custom level ranges up to 230 ft (70 m) H2O and an  accuracy of up to +0.25 percent FS total error band over the complete operating temperature range of –20°C to 60°C (–4°F to 140°F).
  • Analog outputs of 4-20mA, 0-5 VDC or mV.
  • Waterproof, welded 316 SS or titanium construction and an optional chemical-resistant ETFE cable jacket.
  • SuperDry long-life vent filter, which prevents moisture from entering the vent tube for at least one year without maintenance.
