A new line of temperature sensor assemblies that meet ATEX Directive 94/9/EC, approved for use in hazardous area locations, has been introduced by Ultra Electronics, Nuclear Sensor & Process Instrumentation (formerly Weed Instrument). The sensors:
- Feature flame-proof certification, covering the spring-loaded sensor and connection head assembly.
- Feature intrinsically-safe certification for the temperature transmitter, springloaded sensor and connection head assembly.
- Are suitable for all types of thermowells.
