There are now NEMA 4X (IP65) enclosure options available for SMVector drives, making them appropriate for the food and beverage industries, where customers need to protect drives against foreign objects, such as dust, as well as the harmful effects of water and corrosion. One of the reasons the SMVector drive is considered successful is its Electronic Programming Module, which is the drive’s memory in a removable chip. This feature allows a user to have a default set of OEM parameters and to program multiple drives in seconds.
