Cabinet Oven No. 927 is an electrically heated, 750°F unit modified with internal air filtration, currently used for curing Teflon. Features include 64 kW installed in Incoloy sheathed tubular heating elements and a 3,300 CFM, 2-HP recirculating blower that provides horizontal airflow to the load. Workspace dimensions are 50 x 50 x 50 in. The cabinet oven also includes two 24 x 24 x 6 in. stainless steel high-temperature HEPA recirculating air filters plus a 24 x 24 x 6 in. HEPA fresh air filter with a 2 in. pre-fitter. No. 927 is constructed with an aluminized steel exterior, Type 304, 2B stainless steel interior with continuously back-welded seams, 6 in. insulated walls, and the safety equipment required for handling flammable solvents including explosion-venting door hardware. A digital programming temperature controller and a 30-hour shutdown timer are also onboard.
