Hypertherm (Hanover, N.H.) is now offering new quick disconnect torches from its Centricut brand for Kaliburn Spirit and ProLine series plasma systems. According to the company, this provides owners of those plasma systems with an affordable alternative. Hypertherm’s two-piece torch technology makes it easier and faster to switch torches and change out consumables. Additional features include:
- Custom-engineered optimized gas and coolant flow for improved, more reliable operation
- A specially-designed coupler ring that improves an operator’s grip on the torch, helping to create a better connection between the torch head and the base.
- A dust seal to keep metal chips and other debris collecting on the coupler threads.
