Cognex Corporation (Natick, MA) is announced that it will demonstate its latest In-Sight 7010 vision systems and DataMan 300 ID readers in Booth S-651 at the upcoming Pack Expo, which will take place October 28-31 at the McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.

The Dataman 300 series of fixed-mount ID readers have liquid lens optics that allow them to be upgraded from fixed focus to autofocus, which is ideal for applications that require a large depth of field or when refocusing is needed. A intelligent tuning feature selects the optimum settings for the integrated lighting for each application. The DataMan 300 has a resolution of 800x600 pixels and the DataMan 302 has a higher resolution of 1280x1024 pixels.

The Cognex In-Sight 7010 is an entry-level vision system designed to make deploying vision systems easier, according to the company. The self-contained system includes autofocus optics and integrated lighting in an IP67-rated industrial housing. Applications can be configured using the EasyBuilder user interface, and the vision library has been simplified to focus on the most-used tools.
