AUBURN HILLS, Mich.-- Plex Systems, Inc., provider of Plex Online, Cloud ERP for manufacturers, today announced that Plex Online has been awarded the top prize in the prestigious “Best in Operations Management Solution” Supercategory in the 2011 CODiE Business Software Awards.

Plex Online was also awarded “Best Business/Competitive Intelligence Solution” and was named a finalist in the Best Cloud Management Solution and the Best Supply Chain Management Solution categories.

The CODiE Awards are presented annually by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) to showcase the industry's finest products and services and to honor excellence in corporate achievement. The award name combines the word "CODE" with the symbol for information ("i") to visually represent the CODiE Awards' focus on the software and digital industries.

Members of SIIA selected winners for each category; including the five special “Supercategories” that covered several disciplines. Winners were announced during the CODiE Awards Luncheon at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco on May 25. The luncheon took place as part of the SIIA’s All About the Cloud Conference

“We are extremely proud to receive the top recognition in the ‘Best Operations Management Solution’ Supercategory, given the strong nominees in all the CODiEs categories,” said Plex Systems CEO and President Mark Symonds, who was present to accept the awards on behalf of the company. “We are especially pleased to have been recognized in four separate categories as Plex Online is designed to assist manufacturers in meeting business needs across all departments and business functions.”
