Ky. Plant To Double Workforce As Part Of $6.35M Expansion

LEITCHFIELD, Ky. (AP) — A company that has a plant in Grayson County, Ky., is planning a $6.35 million expansion, bringing 100 more jobs. Plastikon Industries Kentucky has been in Leitchfield since 2006 and has 120 employees. Its second facility is expected to be open next month and in full production by the end of November.

The company makes plastic automotive interior trim.

The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority has preliminarily approved Plastikon for tax incentives up to $1.5 million.
