VANCE, Ala. (AP) — Automotive supplier Lear Corp. is breaking ground Friday on a plant that will bring 150 jobs to Alabama's Tuscaloosa County.
Lear manufactures automotive seating and electrical systems. It also has locations in Selma and Montgomery.
Mercedes-Benz, which has a plant in Vance, is strengthening its supplier network as it prepares to begin building Class sedans at its Alabama plant in 2014.
