Today, June 12, marks the fourth annual National Jerky Day and this year hunger doesn't stand a chance.
"National Jerky Day is our favorite day of the year because we get to honor America's love for jerky," Jack Link's Director of Marketing Kevin Papacek said in a news release. "This year, we wanted to showcase our passion for jerky bigger than ever before by unveiling Meatzilla."
Meatzilla is the world's largest bag of beef jerky. It measures 30 feet tall by 28 feet wide and features a new and improved jerky formulation that helped to simplify the label.
At three stories high, this monster-sized bag of jerky was delivered by crane to New York City's Meatpacking District.
