BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — Health food maker Boulder Brands on Monday named company director James Leighton to a new role as chief operating officer.
Leighton has been on the board of directors since August 2007, and he will remain on the board. Leighton, 57, has also worked for Perdue Foods and ConAgra Foods Inc.
Boulder Brands also named Benjamin Chereskin as a company director. Chereskin, 54, is the founder and president of investment management firm Profile Management. His appointment expands the company's board to eight members.
Shares of Boulder Brands Inc. closed up 5 cents at $15.91.
