DALLAS (AP) — Dean Foods Co.'s Harrald Kroeker, president of the Fresh Dairy Direct unit, is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities, the company said.
Kroeker, 50, will remain with the food and beverage company through November's end.
Dean Foods also said Friday that it promoted Chris Sliva to the newly created role of chief commercial officer. Sliva, 47, currently serves as president of the company's Morningstar unit.
Sliva's position as CCO will put him in charge of directing the commercial strategy of Fresh Dairy Direct and Morningstar's sales and lines of business.
Sliva will report to President and Chief Operating Officer Joe Scalzo.
Dean Foods, the nation's biggest milk producer, is based in Dallas.
The company's stock fell 4 cents to $10.58 in afternoon trading.
