Enviro Tech Chemical Services Dedicates New Facility

HELENA-WEST HELENA, Ark. (AP) — Enviro Tech Chemical Services has dedicated a new facility in Helena-West Helena, joined by Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, local leaders and company officials.

The company dedicated the new plant Tuesday. Company officials say the plant will eventually employ more than 80 workers.

Enviro Tech is a chemical company focused on food safety and water treatment.

Enviro Tech first announced it would locate a manufacturing facility in Helena-West Helena in October 2011, with $1.5 million in investment and 30 new jobs originally announced.

In July 2012, the company announced plans to expand the facility, investing an additional $4 million and adding up to 40 additional new jobs. The company hopes to employ up to 80 people by the end of the year.
