DEARBORN, Mich., February 06, 2013 The Deck is a distinctive feature of AeroDef® Manufacturing and Composites Manufacturing 2013 a central area of the exposition floor designed for optimal interaction between aerospace and defense speakers, exhibitors and attendees. 

The Deck reflects the spirit of innovation that is at the core of AeroDef, which will be held March 1921 at the Long Beach (Calif.) Convention Center. The exposition and conference is produced by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and the major aerospace and defense OEMs as a new way to strengthen the industry by finding manufacturing solutions across the extended supply chain.

Events that take place at The Deck include keynote presentations, panel discussions, networking events, and one-on-one meetings. Topics discussed are reflected throughout the event, which includes a conference and an exposition floor arranged by eight technology zones: composites and advanced materials, digital direct manufacturing, electronics, finishing and coating, integrated assembly, precision machining and tooling, quality measurement and inspection, and supplier/contract manufacturing.
