Shaft collar accessories include thrust bearings with nylon ball retainers that provide a low-friction face, offered in steel and stainless steel for corrosive environments, and Teflon thrust washers which have a low coefficient of friction and are non-compressing. Both designs improve the characteristics of shaft collars in rotary applications. To reduce the noise and excessive wear which can result from metal-on-metal contact in stroke limiting or lever actuation applications, the accessories include neoprene cushioned end stops.
