Nova Chemicals says it will introduce a new family of styrene maleic anyhydride copolymer resins to be used in products for microwavable packaging. In a demonstration at the company's Pennsylvania facility, containers made with foamable Dylark FG resins held their form better than normal foam food containers after three minutes in the microwave. They were also cool to the touch.
