Vega Controls is to hold three Pactware software training courses later this year targeted at users of all Vega-/Pactware-capable instruments who want to use a PC to set them up and maintain them.

Training, which will take place on 22 September, 20 October and 24 November, will be held at the company's head office in Burgess Hill, West Sussex.

The courses are priced at GBP225 per person, or GBP325 per person including an overnight stay.

Vega can also provide onsite courses, tailored specifically to customer requirements.

Experienced trainers will provide a full grounding in using Pactware software.

Delegates will learn about the Pactware system, FDT and DTM architecture.

They will also discover how to load software and how to connect, as well as learning about basic commissioning and setting up.

Delegates will find out how to use online and offline modes and will learn about trending, recording and replaying.

Finally, the course will look at echo curves and the saving and restoring of data.

In addition to the training, candidates receive a free CD of the latest downloaded copy of Pactware to take away with them (normally worth GBP50).

Delegates will also be provided with handouts, official training certificates, support information, binders and operating manuals.

They will be registered with the Vega software user group, keeping them updated with the latest versions, further training, new software updates and information and giving them a five per cent discount off the UK list price on all future purchases of Vega DTM licence packages and Vegaconnect.
