Verizon On Track For 4G LTE Rollout

The high-speed long-term evolution network will launch this year in 30 U.S. cities, with the country covered by 2013, said a company executive.

Verizon Wireless remains committed to its plans to offer next-generation, 4G service to 30 cities in the United States by the end of 2010, according to a senior official who spoke at a meeting of enterprise IT managers in Bethesda, Md., on Wednesday, eWeek is reporting.
