Data I/O Corporation (NASDAQ: DAIO), the leading provider of manual and automated device programming solutions, will showcase its FlashPak III, ProLINE-RoadRunner and FLX500 in Booth ?2634 at the upcoming IPC/APEX conference and exhibition, scheduled to take place April 12-14, 2011 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Convention Center in Las Vegas.

The FlashPAK III Networked Programming System is the third generation programming architecture specifically designed to support the latest high-density Flash memory, NAND Flash, Managed NAND Flash, Microcontroller and EEPROM devices at maximum programming speeds and highest quality per device, keeping production processes running at maximum velocity.

In addition to the extensive library of existing FlashPAK support for Flash, NAND and Microcontrollers, the FlashPAK III adds the capability to efficiently program all types of managed NAND devices like MoviNAND, iNAND, e.MMC etc., and devices of any size.

Capable of reading and writing to devices with the fastest speeds in the industry, FlashPAK III is designed to give the highest production throughput possible. In addition, the job download speed has been improved dramatically to enable fast job changeovers. Finally, the field configurable FPGA can be optimized for any device.

Data I/O also will feature the ProLINE-RoadRunner, a high speed automated inline programming feeder that mounts directly onto an SMT machine without consuming any additional floor space or altering the production line. The RoadRunner removes unprogrammed Flash Memory devices from tape, programs four devices in parallel, and then delivers the programmed parts to the pick-up point of the placement machine.

The RoadRunner is a Just-In-Time inline programming system and features FlashCORE III, the fastest flash programming architecture available on the market today. In addition, the programmer provides a dramatic reduction in inventory carrying and rework costs, as well as a rapid ROI in only a matter of months.

The ProLINE-RoadRunner can be operated both locally and through a network interface. Design changes can be made as needed and downloaded directly to the RoadRunner's own IP address. The ProLINE-RoadRunner also provides PC Card Support for data and job transfer.

Also on display, the FLX500 is a compact automated system for programming memory and microcontroller devices. At home on the desktop, in the lab, or on the production line, The FLX500 drastically reduces quality problems inherent in manual gang programming and provides the benefits of automation at an affordable price.

The FLX500 is the ultimate in simplicity, enabling users to cost-effectively and quickly achieve world-class device programming quality. The FLX500 base unit features CAN-bus control architecture, dual pick-and-place probes with Z and Theta axes, X-Y gantry, a color touch-screen monitor and an embedded PC. Additionally, job changeovers are fast and easy using plug-and-play modules with the FlashCORE III programming architecture.
