Tackling Microsoft's Asia Challenge

In Microsoft Corp.'s ever-tougher battle for global IT supremacy, Andrew Pickup is charged with taking the fight to Asia. The U.S. software giant's Asia-Pacific chief operating officer excluding China, India and Japan has a lot on his plate these days. Microsoft is planning new tablet-PC designs that use the Windows operating system to rival Apple Inc.'s iPad, and it recently launched the 2010 incarnation of the Office suite.
