A Boca Raton bank teller is accused of stealing nearly $37,000 from customers.

In just two months working at a JP Morgan Chase branch, 20-year-old Israel Conley allegedly forged customer signatures to withdraw huge sums from several accounts.

The bank's branch manager contacted corporate investigators after seeing several suspicious transactions on Aug. 16. Three days later, Conley was taken into police custody on more than a dozen fraud and larceny charges.

Police say Conley admitted to a corporate investigator he embezzled at least $31,500.

The bank has reimbursed its customers.

Conley pleaded not guilty and has been freed on $20,000 bond.

The branch and JP Morgan Chase corporation declined to comment.
