The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says 15 dozen eggs involved in the Iowa salmonella recall were shipped to Utah after May 16.

The Utah Department of Agriculture and Food had previously said none of the 380 million eggs being recalled appear to be in Utah.

The department now says the 15 dozen eggs were shipped to a West Jordan distributor for resale to Asian restaurants in the state. The Utah Department of Agriculture and Food says it is unknown whether the eggs have already been sold or have been removed from the shelves.

The UDAF recommends that consumers cook eggs well before consuming them.
