Flomerics Group PLC, a leading supplier of simulation software, has announced that its sales have increased by 24 percent to $27.8 million and that profits have increased by 30 percent to $2.9 million. A key factor in these results was the companys acquisition of Nika GmbH last July. Global sales of Nikas Engineering Fluid Dynamics (EFD) software grew by 33 percent in 2006, and Flomerics believes that EFD is now the worlds fastest-growing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) product. Revenues excluding those resulting from the acquisition of Nika grew by 13 percent to $25.3 million.
