MONACA, Pa. (AP) — Nova Chemicals Corp. plans to cut 30 to 45 jobs at a western Pennsylvania plant which will stops making a resin often used in automobile instrument panels and consoles.

Nova officials say the company will stop making its Dylark resin sometime in the third quarter of this year at its plant in Potter Township, Beaver County. That's about 25 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.

Nova is cutting the product line because of economic problems in the automobile industry.

Most of the 130 workers laid off as the same plant last year have been recalled. Nova still has about 275 employees at the Potter Township plant and 250 more at a plant in Moon Township, about 10 miles west of Pittsburgh.
