TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — A New Jersey defense contractor who used a church website to send information on military submarines and aircraft to a person in India has been sentenced to nearly five years in prison.

Hannah Robert, of North Brunswick, was sentenced Thursday to 57 months in prison after pleading guilty to exporting military technical drawings to India without state department approval.

Prosecutors say she ran two New Jersey-based companies that contracted with the Department of Defense to supply defense hardware and spare parts. She owned a third company in India that manufactured parts.

She pleaded guilty to sending technical drawings including the parts used in nuclear submarine torpedo systems, military attack helicopters and F-15 fighter aircraft.

Prosecutors say she posted the data on a password-protected website of a New Jersey church where she volunteered.
