OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — ConAgra Foods will offer investors more insight into its prospects Tuesday when it releases its fiscal second-quarter earnings report.
The Omaha, Nebraska, packaged food company is in the midst of several major changes that were announced earlier this year.
ConAgra is selling off its private-label unit that makes store brand products, and it is preparing to spin off its frozen potato business.
The company is also eliminating 1,500 office jobs as it gets ready to move its headquarters to Chicago by next summer.
Once those changes are complete, ConAgra will focus on its consumer brands, which include Hunts, Orville Redenbacher, Banquet, Healthy Choice and Chef Boyardee.
