Tour San Francisco Based Method, Discuss Green jobs
Tour part of 2-day visit to highlight jobs, green tech
SAN FRANCISCO —Tomorrow U.S. EPA Administrator Lisa P. Jackson will tour San Francisco-based home care company Method to discuss jobs and sustainable businesses. Administrator Jackson will be joined by SBA Administrator Karen Mills and San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee. Method creates and markets its own line of environmentally-friendly home and personal care products. Administrator Jackson, Administrator Mills and Mayor Lee will be on hand as Method announces a new sustainable innovation at a press conference on Thursday.

Additional background info: Method has factories that use zero water, have no-landfill waste, have co-invested in on-site solar generation, and operate a fleet of 16 semi-trucks that run off of waste vegetable oil secondary biodiesel that deliver more than 70% of all Method product volume in the US, just to name a few.
