A Fredericton-based company is getting $1.7 million in federal funding to help with business innovation in the Atlantic region.
LearnSphere Canada will offer programs to as many as 70 small-and medium-sized firms, along with new companies just starting up.
The company will provide resources and expertise that help to bring new products, ideas and processes to the marketplace.
The overall goal is to drive job growth in the region.
LearnSphere president Annette Comeau says a variety of companies could take advantage of the programs, including those involved in the fishery, IT and manufacturing.
