European award for multimedia hearing instrument display

Siemens Audiology has been awarded the POPAI EUROPE silver prize for their point of sale (POS) customer information display system. This prize, which is awarded annually, honors especially successful marketing ideas in retail. The award-winning display system offers retailers the opportunity to present information about the latest Siemens hearing systems and additional multimedia content. At the same time, hearing system models can be displayed on adjustable holders.

Last fall, Siemens Audiology unveiled its new display system for hearing care professionals. At the heart of the system, which can easily be updated, are either 7- or 15-inch screens on which short films or other multimedia content can be shown. Depending on the design, up to 15 adjustable product holders with stylized ears offer an additional opportunity to display the latest Siemens hearing system models directly in front of the screen. The models can easily be taken down any time and shown to customers or replaced. The displays have a high-quality aluminum look and come in several different sizes. They can be positioned in display windows or directly on the sales floor thanks to specially designed stands and wall holders.

The POPAI Europe Award jury honored the display system because it is uniquely eye-catching and it helps both educate customers and promote sales. The prize is bestowed annually for extraordinary marketing ideas. POPAI is a trade association that was founded in 1936 and has more than 1,700 member business worldwide. The organization works to promote the topic of marketing at retail and to promote international standards.
