TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) -- Glass maker Libbey Inc. said Monday that it has named Stephanie Streeter as its CEO and William Foley as chairman.
Streeter served as interim CEO of the U.S. Olympic Committee from March 2009 to March 2010 and previously served as president and CEO of printing services company Banta Corp.
Foley, currently chairman and CEO of Blonder Home Accents, has served as a Libbey board member since 1994.
Streeter will also become a board member, effective Aug. 1. She succeeds Chairman and CEO John Meier, who announced in February that he planned to retire this year.
She is a board member of Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., Kohl's Corp., the Green Bay Packers and the nonprofit organization Catalyst.
Libbey, based in Toledo, Ohio, makes products including glass tableware, ceramic dinnerware, and metal flatware.
