Kellogg Announces New CFO

Food maker Kellogg Co. said Tuesday it has promoted Ronald Dissinger, a 22-year veteran of the company, to chief financial officer as of Jan. 3.

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (AP) -- Food maker Kellogg Co. said Tuesday it has promoted Ronald Dissinger, a 22-year veteran of the company, to chief financial officer as of Jan. 3.

He takes over from John Bryant, who has been serving as both CFO and chief operating officer. Dissinger will report to Bryant.

Dissinger has been CFO of the company's North American unit and CFO for Kellogg in Europe and Kellogg International.

The Battle Creek, Mich.-based company makes Pop-Tarts, Cheez-Its, Rice Krispies, Famous Amos, Kashi, Gardenburger and other foods.

Kellogg shares fell 27 cents to $52.62 on Tuesday.
