STOCKHOLM, Sweden (AP) — AB Volvo appointed corporate finance executive Mikael Bratt as the Swedish truck and bus maker's new chief financial officer, the company said Monday.
Bratt, 40, will succeed Par Ostberg, who will leave his position to take charge of Volvo's Asian truck operations.
Volvo said Bratt has been vice president and head of corporate finance since 2002 and has worked for the Volvo group since 1988. He will assume his new position immediately and will also become a member of the Volvo's group management.
