NEW YORK (AP) -- Shoe maker Steven Madden Ltd. on Monday named Edward Rosenfeld chairman and chief executive, effective immediately.
Rosenfeld had been interim chief executive since March, when Jamieson Karson resigned as chairman and chief executive.
He replaces Walter Yenikoff as chairman, who retired.
Before he was interim CEO, Rosenfeld was executive vice president of strategic planning and finance.
In August, Steven Madden said second-quarter profit fell 28 percent, while revenue edged up nearly 1 percent to $109.3 million.
