ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) -- Railroad car manufacturer American Railcar Industries Inc. on Tuesday said its chief financial officer resigned.
William P. Benac, senior vice president and CFO, is leaving to pursue other opportunities, the company said.
He will be replaced by Dale Davies, 56, who has been vice president of finance since joining the company in 2005.
Benac will stay until the end of June to assist with the transition.
In February, the company said fiscal-year profit fell 6 percent to $37.3 million while revenue rose 8 percent to $698.1 million.
Shares of American Railcar fell 26 cents to close at $19.59.
