Watlow Names New Vice President

Chad Merryman has been promoted from his position as director for Watlow’s domestic and international technical sales and support teams.

ST. LOUIS â€” Watlow, a designer and manufacturer of heaters, controllers and temperature sensors, has named a new vice president of global end user sales and support. For the last two years, Chad Merryman served as director for Watlow’s domestic and international technical sales and support teams.
 
In his new role, Merryman will be responsible for distributor sales and alternative channel sales for Watlow. He will continue to provide leadership to the technical and service teams that provide sales and post-sales support to Watlow’s customers.
 
Merryman holds a master’s of business administration from Webster University in St. Louis and a bachelor’s degree in business administration and speech communication from McKendree University in Lebanon, Ill. Prior to joining Watlow, Merryman was senior vice president at Americall Group Inc., which provides lead generation, acquisition and retention programs. 
 
Since the company’s founding in 1922, Watlow has been working with semiconductor, power generation, plastics processing, foodservice equipment, life sciences, aerospace and others.  Headquartered in St. Louis, Watlow is the largest custom designer and manufacturer of industrial heaters, sensors, controllers and software with offices and manufacturing facilities around the world.
