NEW YORK (AP) — Solarfun Power Holdings Co., which makes photovoltaic cells and modules, Tuesday named Amy Liu as chief financial officer, effective Oct. 31.
Liu replaces Kevin Wei, whose contract expires at the end of the month. She will join the company on Oct. 18 in order to work with Wei to ensure a smooth transition.
Liu previously served as vice president and director of finance for China and Hong Kong at scientific instrument maker Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.
Solarfun also announced Xihong Deng resigned as a board member at the end of September.
