OskKosh Truck Names New President For Its JLG Subsidiary

Craig E. Paylor will succeed Charlie Szews, who was acting president since Oshkosh acquired JLG in December 2006.

OSHKOSH, Wis. - Oshkosh Truck Corp. announced Wednesday the appointment of Craig E. Paylor as president of JLG Industries, Inc., its access equipment subsidiary and newest acquisition, effective immediately.

Most recently, Paylor served as Senior Vice President of Marketing for JLG with global responsibility for business development, sales, marketing, customer service and aftermarket.

Paylor joined JLG in 1978 as a district manager. In 1996, he became an officer of JLG and was appointed Sr. Vice President of Sales and Market Development in 1999. During Paylor’s tenure with JLG, the company has grown from annual revenues of $40 million to $2.3 billion in fiscal 2006.

Paylor succeeds Charlie Szews, Oshkosh’s executive vice president and CFO, in the position. Szews had been acting president since Oshkosh’s acquisition of JLG in December 2006 and will return full time to his corporate responsibilities.

Oshkosh Truck is a manufacturer of specialty access equipment, commercial, fire and emergency and military vehicles and vehicle bodies.
