Ducommun Names Hann As CFO

Ducommun has announced that former Alcoa executive Gregory A. Hann will be its vice president, finance chief and treasurer.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Ducommun Inc., which provides engineering and manufacturing services to the aerospace and defense industry, said Thursday that it named former Alcoa executive Gregory A. Hann as its vice president, finance chief and treasurer.

Hann succeeds CFO Jim Heiser, who will maintain his roles as vice president, general counsel and secretary. Ducommun said it chose to split the responsibilities due to the company's recent growth, and that the move was part of its corporate restructuring.

Prior to joining the company, Hann was with aluminum producer Alcoa as CFO in its Fastening Systems and Mill Products businesses. Before that, Hann held senior financial positions at several manufacturing companies including Alumax Materials Management.

He will report to Joseph C. Berenato, chairman, president and chief executive.

Shares of Ducommun added 12 cents to $19.02 in morning trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
