RPM International Inc. said it purchased the Dane Group’s daylight fluorescent, phosphorescent and thermochromatic pigments business.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Manchester, England-based business from Dane has annual revenue of $20 million.
“Dane will operate as a stand-alone entrepreneurial business within our Day-Glo Group of companies and will continue to be led by Operations Manager Fintan McGrath and his capable management team,” said Stephen J. Knoop, RPM’s senior vice president- corporate development.
Ohio-based Day-Glo’s market includes plastics, graphic arts, paints and coatings, dyes and textiles.
RPM International Inc. is a holding company that owns subsidiaries in specialty coatings and sealants for industrial and consumer markets. RPM’s industrial products include roofing systems, sealants, corrosion control coatings, flooring coatings and specialty chemicals.
