Sturm Foods Inc. of Manawa, Wis., recalled certain lots of 20 brands of one-quart instant nonfat dry milk because the supplier, Plainview Milk Products Cooperative, reported possible salmonella contamination. The affected brands are America's Choice, Pathmark, Stop & Shop, Giant, Food Lion, Saco, Laura Lynn, White Rose, Foodtown, Hannaford, Key Foods, Krasdale, Weis, Great Value, Best Yet, Big Y, Food Club, Meijer, Sturm Village Farm and Sturm Village Farm-Mi Vaquita. Herring Produce of Lake Park, Ga., recalled a single lot of whole Herring Produce Anaheim peppers because of possible salmonella contamination. Nutrition Global LLC of Milford, Conn., recalled certain batches of SNI Pro Whey, SNI Pro Mass and Sci Labs Mass Fuzion Dietary Supplement because the products contain instant nonfat dry milk manufactured by the Plainview Milk Products Cooperative. Traditions Meal Solutions recalled 104,500 packets of 25 gram nonfat dry milk packets after its supplier, Blendco Inc., reported that the nonfat dried milk packets included in the shelf stable meal kits contained products supplied by Plainview Milk Products Cooperative. Diamond Crystal Brands Inc. is recalling products containing nonfat dry milk because its supplier, Plainview Milk Products Cooperative, of Plainview, Minn., warned the company of a possible salmonella contamination. The recalled products were distributed nationally in pouches to foodservice organizations.
