We all know the old saying, “Time flies when you’re …. trying to provide the manufacturing community with the most up-to-the-minute news affecting the industry.”
OK, maybe that’s not quite how it goes, but the past month has gone quickly, partly because we’re having fun, and partly because there’s been so much work to do. Now that we’ve turned a month old – an eternity in the online world – we thought it would be a good time to get your initial impression of Manufacturing.net.
Let us know what you like, what you don’t like, and what you simply don’t care about on our site. If there are issues impacting your business that you would like us to address in a story, please let us know. If you have thoughts on making the site easier to navigate, by all means tell us.
Of course, with a month under our belts, we have some plans of our own. For starters, you can look forward to more frequent updates to our top story, and a highlights section that’s more robust with original content. We’ll soon be unveiling a poll section on the site, and are gearing up to offer webcasts, just to name a few of our plans.
One of the real advantages in creating an online news service is the ability to change on the fly. We think Manufacturing.net offers an informative view of the manufacturing industry, uncluttered by news that you as a manufacturing professional don’t have time for and don’t need on a daily basis. Our purpose is to offer you stories about what’s most important to you and your manufacturing business, so please drop us a line and let us know how we can make your reading experience more productive, and more enjoyable.
