Omega Engineering (Stamford, Conn.) has unveiled the DPi1701 series of 1/8 DIN monochrome, high-resolution graphic display panel meter and data logger for temperature and process management. The meters are CE-compliant and are capable of recording 85,000 data points with time and date stamping. The logging starts or stops based on time and date, alarm 1 or 2 status, or a key press, while displaying minimum and maximum process values. The company says the new meters and loggers are ideal for the oil & gas, paper and steel industries. There are a number of optional features as well: alarm relays, isolated analog output, isolated 24 VDC excitation voltage and a wireless receiver.
